Blueberry Ice Cream Topping

1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
dash salt
1/3 cup water
1 cup blueberries
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. grated lemon peel

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in water.  Add blueberries.  Bring to a boil; simmer until clear and thickened, about 4 minutes.     Remove from heat and add lemon juice and peel.  Chill.  Makes about 1 cup sauce.
